With the intention of alleviating needless suffering, I am going to post a few scanned pages of a book, Asana Pranayama Mudra Bandha, that deal with Yogic breathing. Many reputable Yoga teachers and enthusiasts will tell you this book is "The Bible" with respect to Hatha Yoga practices.

Swami Satyananda Saraswati's rendition of basic Yogic breathing technique is the clearest and most detailed I have come across, though it may resemble a number of different schools take on the practice. If you master these exercises, you can look forward to relaxing your low back, improving your digestive function, and releasing and toning your entire nervous system. The benefits are endless.

If you feel that you have gotten something of value out of the following pages, you can purchase the book at Amazon (I am not receving a "click-through") to show your support for their efforts. In fact, all of the publications by the Bihar School of Yoga are amazing and a treasure trove of health and meditation technique.

I will be adding more rehab exercises to this site in the future.

Shavasana, or "corpse pose", directions are listed at the very bottom.
